These pieces of equipment help you save money and work safely…
This surgery table is made from a retrofitted overbed hospital table at a small fraction of the cost of a commercial surgery table.
The laminate top was replaced with a stainless steel top by Mackey Medical Supply in Tulsa, OK. These tables raise and lower, and are rated for 100, 150 or more pounds. You can have them custom made with V-tops or simply use a V-tray, seen right. Some veterinarians prefer the V tops as the animal can be moved to the side on which they work to reduce back strain.
A stainless steel tray and leg positioner can make a comfortable surgery space even on a more makeshift surface. Seen here with transport blanket
This prep sink (48” X 22” tub) was made by restaurant manufacturer Jero Stainless Steel of Tulsa, OK. It is sized for our mobile s/n unit, has a coated steel wire grate and cost less than half the price of a commercial prep sink. Sized to order.
An inexpensive wall can be made from PVC pipe and sheets.
